Hotel Solar de Monfalim

Warmth and kindness in the old fashioned way.
Built in the mid 16th century, Solar Monfalim belonged to D. Gonçalo de Sousa, a nobleman in the court.
Later, it was passed on to the Congominhos, one of the most ancient families in town.
The Monfalins, descendants of the Congominhos, lived in this manorhouse till the end of the 19th century. In 1892 the manor welcomed its first guest.
Solar Monfalim is in the heart of the old city, just a stone's throw from Praça do Giraldo (main square).
For an unforgettable stay in this World Heritage Town, Évora, we welcome you in comfort and style.
Both the suite or any of the 25 rooms offer you air-conditioning, bathrooms, TV, a vault and WiFi connection.
In the morning you'll be served a delicious home made breakfast.
These are reasons enough for the "Solar" to be considered as the historic host in Évora.

Come and taste the feeling of history.
